Customers like Jonny Var and Liav Aybi praise its flavor and easy-to-use ordering system, which accommodates multiple languages and digital payments, making it accessible for everyone.
Patrons rave about the creamy, satisfying texture of the chicken broth, with some, like Jake Gordon, proclaiming it memorable and comforting enough to dream about. However, opinions vary; Bea found the ramen a bit heavy for late-night cravings but appreciated the variety available, noting that the lighter ramen options are delightful. Overall, while the heavier broth may not be for everyone, Ramen Mitaba captivates with its delicious offerings and welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit for any ramen lover in Tokyo.

Based on 1,400 reviewsRamen Mitaba in Kabukicho is widely praised for its rich, creamy chicken-based ramen, which stands out as a popular alternative to traditional pork broths. Customers appreciate the hearty, flavorful soups that cater to different preferences, from thicker paitan styles to lighter versions, ensuring appeal to a broad audience. Open late into the night, it serves as a comforting spot for both locals and tourists. While some find the heavier broths too intense, the overall consensus highlights well-prepared chicken, tender meats, and reasonable pricing as key strengths of Ramen Mitaba.
One of the most famous Ramen in Kabukicho for Chicken Ramen Highly recommend Must try! Also have very easy to use ordering machine in most popular languages (with card payment option too!)
Tourist. Was looking for non pork Ramen. This chicken based Ramen is the best I have ever tried this trip and in general. Also, very decent prices. Highly recommend!
Ramen Mitaba was recommended to me by a local, and it mostly delivered. I went for the thicker chicken-based broth — very rich and hearty, even heavier than some tonkotsu I’ve had. It was satisfying and full of flavour, though a little too thick for my personal preference. The chicken pieces were tender and well-cooked, and the tsukune meatballs were tasty but not a must-order. I also tried the gyoza, which were good, though fairly standard. The noodles absorbed the broth nicely, giving each bite plenty of flavour. Service was great, and the restaurant has more seating than many ramen shops, making it easy to get a spot. I’d be curious to try the thinner broth next time for a lighter experience. A solid chicken-based ramen spot for Japan, but just slightly heavy for my taste.
I was very excited to try their tori paitan. I ate this late at night and the creamy ramen was too heavy for me so I wasn’t a fan. The taste was too one dimensional. My boyfriend got the light ramen which I enjoyed much more. It had great flavour. They have several ramens which can cater to everyone’s taste buds. I would go back to try their other ramen. Great that it’s open late.
I dream of this chicken ramen specifically whenever I’m not in Japan. In fact, I dream of it when I’m in Japan too. Creamy, rich but drinkable broth, perfectly cooked noodles and chicken, it is PERFECT! You order at the vending machine when walking in and give them the ticket to prepare your order when you take a seat. No frills, but open late and very comforting!
My favorite ramen spot in Kabukicho. Open very late and delicious chicken ramen, love the creamy broth but you can also get a lighter broth ! Order thru vending machine , cash only. Friendly staff and fast service. My go to spot after a night out . Purchased a T-shirt as well to show how much I love their ramen.
שלום לכם Mitaba is specialized in chicken. We recommend ordering gyoza as a side dish, the chicken balls in the ramen were amazing. עם ישראל חי ????????
